All functionality is present for two users with five client workspaces for as long as you need to get comfortable. If you want to try Perforce with more users, we can provide you with an evaluation license (PDF) good for 45 days for any number of users and unlimited workspaces.

If you decide to purchase Perforce as your SCM system you can easily convert your temporary installation to a production system by installing a permanent license file.
