Download and Install

To download Perforce for Linux kernel 2.6 for 64-bit Itanium (IA64), right-click on the "Download" icon and select "Save As".

Except where noted, the Unix executables are ready to run -- just copy them into /usr/local/bin or some other place where users can access them.

System Requirements

A 64-bit Itanium machine running:

  • Linux kernel 2.6.4 or higher
  • Check your distribution for kernel version

Important Notes

For building clients with the API, gcc 3.3 or higher is required.
