General Notes of Interest

Builds for systems not included in our initial release are built either as requested or as scheduled during the first eight weeks following any GA release of Perforce Software.

Please note that a patch that includes changes to Perforce API files results in rebuilt client applications. This may not be reflected in each client's respective release notes.

    Please note that Windows 2000 users will need Microsoft Service Pack 3 or higher in order to install the 2005.1 beta version of the Perforce Server (P4D).
    New for 2005.1, the Core Perforce Windows Installer now includes P4V, the Perforce Visual Client, and P4Merge, the Perforce Visual Merge Client.
