Highlights

Improved System Administration:
Groups can have multiple group owners, who all have administrative control over the membership of the group.

Triggers can pass messages to users.

CIDR syntax can be used to control access by IP address.

Enhanced Performance:
The Perforce Server features even better concurrency, better use of network bandwidth, and less demand on server memory and CPU.

The Perforce Proxy Server caches files as they are submitted to further minimize WAN traffic.

Upgrading your Perforce Server is a one-way migration. Please read the P4/P4D Release Notes carefully and follow the procedures they describe.

The 2007.3 Perforce client tools can be used without a server upgrade. However, some of their new features might not be apparent without the Release 2007.3 Perforce Server.

The P4Web user interface has been extended to include filtering and additional information.

P4Web users can view files in a simple list, a detailed list, or as a list of thumbnails.

Files can be resolved interactively and text files can be edited.

Highlights

Support for Keyword expansion
P4OFC can expand RCS keywords in Microsoft Word documents, using Word's custom properties feature.
Improved Working Offline
Users can suppress connection attempts when the server is down, to avoid long timeouts.
Enhanced Checked Out Documents dialog
Including the ability to revert multiple files simultaneaously and to open files easily from this dialog by double-clicking.
