Perforce Software Integrates Software Development Tool with Bugzilla to Give Development Teams More Efficiency with Less Effort

ALAMEDA, Calif., October 29, 2001 /PRNewswire/ - Perforce Software, Inc. today announced that its Software Configuration Management (SCM) system now supports the Bugzilla defect tracking system via the Perforce Defect Tracking Integration kit (P4DTI). This integration enables developers to complete their work in Perforce while automatically keeping managers and QA departments in the loop with Bugzilla through tracking, workflow, and reports.

Perforce SCM is a comprehensive system that helps software development teams efficiently manage large, complex development projects across multiple operating system platforms. Bugzilla is an open source database for reporting and tracking bugs and Perforce offers free licenses for open-source development projects.
