Perforce Software Version Management Perpetual Licensing and Pricing
Perforce licensing is per user and includes unlimited use of Perforce's shared versioning service and client software programs. Pay a one-time license fee and retain the use of the Perforce licenses in perpetuity. Our prices are based on the cumulative number of licenses purchased. All user licenses in any one order will be priced at the tier to which the resulting cumulative purchase total pertains.

Perforce Software Version Management Subscription Options and Pricing
For more flexibility with budgeting and payments, consider a subscription license for Perforce. Benefits include a lower annual cost per user, no long-term commitments, quarterly payments, and purchasing discounts.
A subscription license is priced at $360 per user and sold on a one-year term for use at your site, and includes software upgrades and technical support. At the end of one year, the right to use the software will expire unless the subscription is renewed. Upon renewal, a portion of the subscription fees may be applied to the eventual purchase of perpetual licenses.

Perforce Chronicle
Chronicle is licensed at $10,000 per server on a one-year term. Or get the community edition for free for up to 20 users or 1,000 files.
Perforce Commons
Add on to an existing Perforce license. Or get Commons for free for up to 20 users sharing 1,000 files.
Perforce Technical Support Plans and Pricing
New Perforce customers are required to purchase a license with technical support for their first 12 months. The following support plans are available with a Perforce license:
Standard Support »
The Standard Support plan includes software upgrades, license maintenance, and unlimited access to Perforce technical support for an annual fee of $160 per user.
Designated Contacts Plan »
Designed for companies with 250 users or more, the Designated Contacts Plan enables you to save money by routing interaction with Perforce Technical Support through your specifically designated personnel.
- Appoint up to five authorized support contacts to make technical inquiries at a yearly rate of $20,000.
- Software upgrades/maintenance are priced per user at $80 per year.
- Additional contact personnel can be added at $4,000 each per year.
24x7 Critical Care »

Perforce Educational Licensing and Technical Support Pricing
Bona fide educational institutions may be eligible to receive a Perforce license for use by students for classroom or research purposes free of charge. This includes upgrades but does not include technical support. The license is issued for a one-year term and is renewable.
- Technical support is $4,000 per year per authorized support contact from your organization.

Open Source Licensing and Technical Support Options
If you develop software that is licensed or otherwise distributed exclusively under an Open Source license, you may be eligible to obtain a Perforce license free of charge. This includes upgrades but does not include technical support. Good candidates for acceptance are those fitting the Open Source Definition.
