Automatically Logging Out TestTrack Web Floating License Users
TestTrack administrators – we can help you put a stop to complaints about not being able to log in to TestTrack Web because no floating licenses are available. TestTrack 2014.1.1 introduces a new option to automatically log out floating license users from TestTrack Web after a specified number of minutes of inactivity. If a user does not use the mouse or keyboard in the web browser before the inactivity limit is reached, a warning is displayed. Users have 60 seconds to choose to stay logged in. Select Log out floating license users if inactive in the web client. Enter the number of minutes of inactivity before users are automatically logged out. This setting, which existed in earlier TestTrack versions, specifies how long to wait to automatically log out users when TestTrack Web is no longer responsive. TestTrack Web periodically pings the server and is considered responsive as long as the browser is open and can communicate with the server. If the client is not responsive for the specified period of time, the user is automatically logged out. This setting applies to all users regardless of license type. See the TestTrack Server Admin Utility help for more information about TestTrack Web client settings. Go here to upgrade to TestTrack 2014.1.1.
