Customizing Surround SCM Shortcut Menus
In Surround SCM, I tend to right-click branches, files, and repositories in the Source Tree view to perform actions. I quickly found that I only use a small number of the actions available by default on the shortcut menus, so I removed the commands I use less frequently and organized actions I do use in the order that makes sense for the way I work. You can customize your branch, repository, and file list shortcut menus in the Surround SCM user options. To access the shortcut menu user options, choose Tools > User Options and select Branch Menu, Repository Menu, or File List Menu based on the menu you want to customize. To add an item to the shortcut menu, select the item in the Available menu items list and click the >> button to move it to the Current menu items list. To remove an item from the menu, select the item in the Current menu items list and click the << button to move it to the Available items list. You can also rearrange the order of the menu items using the Top, Move Up, Move Down, and Bottom buttons. If you want to visually separate groups of items in the menu, you can move the <separator> items in the Current menu items list. A horizontal line is used in the menu wherever you add a separator.
