Here's what's new from Perforce in January.

Perforce Swarm 2014.4 – Now Free for Perforce Users

Swarm is now free of charge for all Perforce users and does not require a license file for operation. The latest release includes new features and bug fixes such as the ability to:

  • Configure project email notifications
  • Restrict project creation
  • Search change history by labels or date, change number and revision ranges

P4Office – Now Open Source in Perforce Workshop

A new and improved Microsoft Office integration for Perforce P4D is now open source and available from the Perforce Workshop. New features include:

Patch Available for P4V and P4EXP 2014.2

A patch for P4V and P4EXP (a component of the P4V installer) is now available. To prevent a crash induced by P4EXP clients, we recommend customers using P4V install the patched version at their earliest convenience. See the release notes for details.
