Notes

The format of P4CHANGE is host:port, or port by itself if both the Helix Server and the changelist server are running on the same host.

All servers must be at the same release level.

Port numbers must be in the range 1024 through 32767.

If a service user is configured, that service user is used to contact the centralized change server and obtain the change number. If not, the built-in remote user is used. See Centralized changelist server (P4CHANGE) in the Helix Core Server Administrator Guide.
