Perpetual licenses are available for teams with more than 20 users. Perpetual licenses are a one-time purchase of the license, followed by an annual (maintenance) renewal to receive product upgrades and technical support.
Free for Small Teams
Perforce allows small teams to use Helix Versioning Engine for free until they have more than 5 users. Download here.

Pay a one-time license fee and retain the use of the Perforce licenses in perpetuity. Our prices are based on the cumulative number of licenses purchased. Support & maintenance fees provide you with technical support and access to upgrades.

Language Packs: Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese
The Helix Versioning Engine, Helix P4V and Helix Swarm are available in Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. Local, in-language Support & Maintenance provided by Perforce partners is available for each Language Pack. Active Perforce Helix licenses are required before the addition of a Language Pack. Each Language Pack is sold separately. Pricing of Perforce Helix, supplementary Language Packs and in-language Support & Maintenance is tiered based on the number of users.
Customers who purchase a technical support plan have access to the Perforce Technical Support team via email, phone, or chat. The plan also allows customers to make server changes and other licensing requests, without cost.
New Perforce customers are required to purchase a license with technical support for their first 12 months. The following support plans are available with a Perforce license:
The Standard Support plan includes software upgrades, license maintenance, and unlimited access to technical support.
For around-the-clock support, 24x7 Critical Care offers production-down emergency care as a supplement to our Standard Support Plans.
For customers who desire a more strategic vendor relationship, Perforce offers an extended commitment for the supply of software, technical support, software maintenance, value added services and consulting. Benefits include additional volume discounts and cost savings, simplified license management and consistent pricing for the entire period of the agreement.
