    continuous delivery


    In my last article I talked about why our Engineering group is migrating to Continuous Delivery and how we're doing so. In this post I’d like to dig into the first step in that migration, which was the creation of embedded product teams.

    I was very pleased to attend the Develop Conference and Awards in Brighton, UK this week. Besides being a great conference in a beautiful location, Perforce won an award, so it was definitely a fun and exciting event!

    The good news for Puppet enthusiasts is that it now includes built-in support for Perforce, integrating all the power of the Perforce platform with Puppet’s unique brand of infrastructure management.

    The central operation in any version control system (VCS) like Perforce is the check-in (submit in Perforce-speak), but often not enough consideration is given to the quality of the submit itself, only to the code.
