P4 Plan Global Support Team is available during normal business hours to assist you with your support needs. From answering questions about our product to assisting with troubleshooting, P4 Plan Support is there to help you get the most from your P4 Plan experience.
The P4 Plan Support mission is to help you reach your goals. From answering questions that arise while using P4 Plan solutions, to troubleshooting, our support team will help you minimize your downtime and maximize your P4 Plan experience.
NOTE: Nothing in this document supersedes your current contract with Perforce.
P4 Plan provides the same level of support to all our customers. P4 Plan does not offer a premium level of support.
P4 Plan offers support services via community portal, email, and phone. We recommend using either the web portal or email since those provide us with the most background information that we will use to quickly handle your case.
Community Portal
The Community Portal is the best method to use for opening and tracking your support tickets.
Email is the most popular channel to use when communicating with P4 Plan support. Simply send your question or error message to [email protected]. You will immediately receive an email letting you know your request has reached our systems. You will hear back from P4 Plan Tech Support as soon as they have reviewed your case. In most cases you will hear back from someone in thirty minutes or less.

P4 Plan support has support offices in North America, Europe, Australia, and India and are available during normal business hours for each region.
P4 Plan does not offer after-hours or weekend support.
To escalate a case, as a customer just mention you would like the case escalated. When this occurs the support manager is added to the case as well as all other required parties.
You may review all your open cases on the Community Portal. You may also use the Case Portal to open new cases or communicate with the P4 Plan Support Team about open cases.

P4 Plan supports the latest version. New bug fixes and features are added to the next release. Prior releases are never patched.

P4 Plan Knowledge Base & Documentation – The KB is your first stop for advanced problem solving and ‘how to’ questions. We are always updating it. Checking the KB before opening a new case may result in a faster resolution of your problems.
P4 Plan Release Notes – New features and changes in functionality are announced in our release notes. Feel free to ask a support engineer about anything you read in the Release Notes.
Sometimes your problem will be traced to issues with software that is not under the control of P4 Plan (e.g., open-source software and networking.)
