Creating a Community at Merge 2013

MERGE User Conference

support booth at 2011 perforce conference

We in Perforce engineering are counting down the days to Merge 2013, The Perforce Conference. In 61 days we’ll have the opportunity to meet with many of our customers face-to face to share our innovations and hear what’s on your mind.

Our conference, like our engineering team, has grown and evolved, and still is the vibrant community of the early days. When I joined the Perforce executive team in 2000, we had 35 employees and I had 19 direct reports and only five of them were developers. Today Perforce has over 250 employees and Engineering has grown to 140 strong. We have five Development/UX teams, along with Engineering Services (QA, Performance Lab, Build & Release, Doc, Multi-Media), Technical Program Management and, a renowned Technical Support organization.

At Merge 2013 in April, the engineers who design, build, and support our product will engage with customers who deploy, use, and expand our product. We hope to inspire you with new ideas, and importantly, we look forward to learning from you.

Please tap me on the shoulder at the upcoming #Merge2013. I look forward to chatting about what's new at Perforce!
