Helix Plan Integration Updates for Jira Cloud, Server, and Data Center

Since Atlassian announced that they will stop supporting the server deployment option of their products, we have received many questions from Jira users if we can help. Here is a brief update on how we are adapting our plans to make sure that you can plan and track with the best available tools.
 

Helix Plan & Jira Cloud / Data Center

A majority of Atlassian’s users are already using one of Atlassian’s subscription-based Jira alternatives (Cloud or Data Center). We are therefore announcing our brand-new Jira Cloud integration — compatible and fully supported with both deployment options.

We have made the first version of this new integration available early to support our customers that are making a swift transition to Jira Cloud. A couple examples of what you can do with the new Helix Plan (formerly Hansoft) Jira Cloud Integration:

• Work in a hybrid model where the most strategic plans can be kept on premise in Helix Plan, but tasks can easily be created in Jira Cloud or Data Center directly from Helix Plan.
• When you create one or multiple tasks in Helix Plan from Jira, you can select the project, type, and whether you want to place the new tasks under a specific Epic in Jira.

Helix plan JIRA CLOUD INTEGRATION

Helix Plan & Jira Server

As Atlassian has announced that they will deprecate Jira Server, this will impact our existing Jira Server integration. We will continue to provide basic support for this integration in alignment with Atlassian’s deprecation schedule but will have to discontinue it completely on February 2, 2023.

We understand that moving to Jira Cloud or Data Center are not good, or even feasible, options for all Jira Server customers. If you are looking to move away from Jira altogether, Helix Plan is an excellent choice that scales well to manage all planning and tracking purposes.
