Overheard at the Perforce Partner Summit

The Perforce Partner Summit is the annual kick-off for our channel partners. It is part of a rich menu of channel enablement tools and activities that are open to all distributors, VARs, consultants and SIs that engage in selling or implementing Perforce.

Channel enablement is an important part of what we do at Perforce. Given the complexity of modern product development, it’s critical that we work closely with all the providers of technology and services that contribute to the infrastructure for releasing products quickly and efficiently.

Our Partner of the Year award went to Dragonsoft.

This year, the summit was held at the Westin Dragonara Resort on Malta, a location and venue that proved popular with attendees from 18 partner companies spanning 25 countries and 3 continents.

The goal of the summit is to prepare our partners for the product launches, announcements, promotions and campaigns that Perforce will roll out over the coming year. The content this year covered the company’s vision, product roadmap, sales training on the new products and updates on the partner program itself.

The summit also presents a great opportunity for the partners to engage directly with key decision-makers at Perforce, and to network with their peers from other partner companies. Perforce fosters open dialog with its partners and we value the chance to build relationships and stimulate creative commercial discussions. 

The value is clear as these delegates attest:

When attending these events, the hope is that subjects such as new product launch, product strategy & direction, marketing activities to help drive sales of new and pre-existing products, sales strategies & techniques to help win deals, and customer success stories will all be on the agenda.
