What’s New
In the Spring of 2025, we launched Perforce Intelligence. Perforce Intelligence was built to deliver trusted enterprise-grade AI across the DevOps lifecycle to amplify teams beyond human scale and accelerate innovation, while ensuring compliant and responsible AI adoption to deliver real business outcomes that scale.
At the time of our announcement, we were safely embedding AI within our products, but our ambitions extend far beyond that. We set out to help customers design, deliver, and govern AI across the emerging AI‑Driven Development Lifecycle (AI‑DLC). Our long‑term goal is to evolve that lifecycle into one that enables autonomous, controlled AI software delivery, where AI can execute development workflows with speed and precision while remaining fully governed and trusted.
We recognized early that the promise of AI was real, but without visibility into how AI impacts software delivery or control of AI outputs, enterprises would be stalled in their ability to take AI from a proof of concept to productivity and ROI gains. We also knew that AI was moving extremely fast in its adoption. Our industry went from experimental phase to production phase quickly, but enterprises and highly regulated environments cannot adopt and succeed with any new technology unless they know what that technology is doing and can control cost, compliance, security, and quality.
Our latest releases address these challenges head-on:
- Perforce Agentic Gateway is an AI orchestration layer that reduces token consumption and connects Perforce MCPs through a single install (it can also connect certain Perforce MCPs with third-party MCPs, but we'll get into that later). We have products that span software delivery and have been tried and tested in some of the most complex environments. Now, with a single install, teams can bring the productivity of AI into their new agentic workflows, along with the traceability and protections our products provide. And for multi-product customers, this dramatically accelerates their time to value. Current products available today include P4, Delphix, BlazeMeter, Perfecto, and IPLM, with more to follow.
- Perforce Autonomous Testing is an AI-assisted testing platform that enables natural language execution and continuous agent-driven validation across quality engineering workflows. This platform changes how testing is done and makes it accessible to agile teams across an organization. It takes what once was a fragmented set of testing tools and manual script maintenance to a single request that then allows AI to execute testing needs across functional, performance, and mobile testing. Built to connect with Perforce BlazeMeter and Perfecto testing solutions – at least for today. (Read more on future iterations of this platform in the “What’s Next” section.)
- Perforce Unified Compliance provides a path from policy to enforcement, ensuring continuous compliance and evidence collection. The solution is available first to Perforce Puppet customers using Puppet Enterprise Advanced and supports multi-cloud cost optimization and improved OS compliance. It will expand to code, IP, and data workflows later this year, evolving into a platform that delivers compliance with automatic, audit-ready evidence generated as work happens.
How It Works
Perforce Agentic Gateway: Orchestrating AI Through a Single Control Layer
As organizations deploy more AI agents and workflows, integration complexity increases rapidly. Different tools, models, and systems often operate independently, creating unnecessary operational overhead, fragmented governance, and rising token costs.
Perforce Agentic Gateway provides a centralized orchestration layer for the Perforce MCP portfolio and larger MCP ecosystem through a single installation and setup experience.
By centralizing AI interactions, Agentic Gateway helps organizations maintain control while enabling AI to operate across the AI-DLC at scale.
Perforce Agentic Gateway is available today for customers using P4, Delphix, BlazeMeter, Perfecto, and IPLM. The gateway is MCP-agnostic, so even if you have a single Perforce product like the ones listed above, you can more quickly and easily gain access to the larger MCP ecosystem and make agentic workflows work better for the tools you already own and trust.
Additionally, the gateway offers:
- Token Optimization and Reduction of Cost: Consolidates multiple tasks into a single orchestrated agent call, eliminating redundant calls to consume fewer tokens.
- Secure credential management that uses your OS-native keychain.
- A catalog of Perforce MCP servers that covers products across the entire software delivery portfolio and other introspection tools to consider and solve future use cases.
- A bundled UI builder to provide consistent reporting across the MCP servers managed by the Perforce Agentic Gateway.

Perforce Autonomous Testing: Continuous Validation for AI-Driven Software Delivery
Traditional test automation requires teams to create, maintain, and update scripts as applications evolve. This often creates bottlenecks that slow testing and limit coverage.
Perforce Autonomous Testing introduces a different approach.
Using natural language, teams define testing objectives, expected outcomes, and validation policies. The platform automatically generates, executes, and maintains tests while provisioning the required mobile, web, virtual device, and performance testing environments.
Unlike traditional automation frameworks, teams do not need to create or maintain scripts, manage locators, or continuously update test assets as applications evolve. AI adapts tests to application changes, executes validation across environments, analyzes results, and identifies likely sources of failure.
Through a single chat interface, organizations can orchestrate functionality, performance, and accessibility testing across applications and environments.
In practice, a single test definition can be executed across multiple platforms and testing disciplines, reducing maintenance effort while expanding validation coverage.
For example:
- A business analyst can describe a customer workflow in natural language and generate automated validation.
- Quality engineering teams can continuously validate changes throughout development.
- Test environments are provisioned automatically across mobile, web, virtual devices, and performance testing infrastructure.
- AI creates and maintains test assets as applications change, eliminating locator and script maintenance.
- Test execution results are analyzed automatically, with likely root causes and affected application areas identified.
Organizations can expand testing coverage without requiring additional automation expertise.
Built on the foundation of BlazeMeter and Perfecto, Perforce Autonomous Testing helps organizations move from script-driven automation to continuous agent-driven validation while maintaining confidence in software quality.

Perforce Unified Compliance: Continuous Governance Across Enterprise Environments
One of the biggest barriers to scaling AI is proving that policies are being enforced.
Many organizations can define security, operational, and compliance requirements but then struggle to validate that those requirements remain in place across dynamic environments.
Perforce Unified Compliance is an AI-driven compliance intelligence platform that sits above other Perforce capabilities to help close that gap, continuously enforcing policies across the software delivery lifecycle and providing the automatic, audit-ready evidence that stakeholders need. It’s available first for Perforce Puppet to manage cloud cost and help achieve OS compliance for infrastructure – and more in the future.
Rather than treating compliance as a periodic audit exercise, organizations can continuously verify that policies remain enforced as environments evolve, resulting in reduced risk through stronger governance and greater confidence in software delivery.

Back to topWhat's Next
Today's announcements establish the foundation for Perforce's broader vision: becoming the control plane for enterprise AI.
The next phase of enterprise AI will not be defined by who deploys the most models or builds the most agents. It will be defined by who can control them.
As AI becomes embedded across software delivery, testing, infrastructure, data, and compliance, organizations will need the ability to orchestrate AI workflows, validate outcomes continuously, enforce governance automatically, and understand how AI impacts business performance. AI does not eliminate the need for the engineering discipline. It makes it more important than ever.
Perforce Intelligence is designed to provide that foundation.
Future roadmap and planned innovations include:
Perforce Agentic Gateway
Perforce Agentic Gateway will continue to evolve as the enterprise control layer for AI agents and MCP-enabled workflows. Future enhancements will expand governance, security, observability, and compliance capabilities while bringing additionalPerforce products and domain expertise into a unified agentic experience. Organizations will gain greater visibility, control, and policy enforcement across the growing ecosystem of AI agents, MCP servers, and enterprise workflows.
Perforce Autonomous Testing
Perforce Autonomous Testing will continue its evolution from automated testing to autonomous validation. By understanding application context, requirements, specifications, test data, and execution environments, Autonomous Testing will intelligently determine what should be validated, create and maintain the required tests, execute them across web, mobile, desktop, mainframe, API, performance, accessibility, and resiliency scenarios, and continuously optimize validation coverage.
Future advancements will expand the platform's ability to provision the data, environments, devices, and infrastructure required for testing, including safe and compliant test data through Delphix integration. As organizations increasingly adopt AI-driven software delivery, Perforce Autonomous Testing will provide continuous, context-aware validation that automatically analyzes results, identifies likely causes of failure, and delivers actionable feedback to developers and AI agents, ensuring quality keeps pace with delivery velocity.
Perforce Unified Compliance
Perforce Unified Compliance will evolve into a comprehensive compliance intelligence platform for the AI-driven enterprise. Future capabilities will extend governance, evidence collection, remediation, and audit readiness across code, quality, data, infrastructure, product lifecycle management, open-source software, software supply chains, and safety-critical systems. Organizations will be able to continuously demonstrate compliance against frameworks and regulations such as DORA, PCI DSS, CMMC, HIPAA, the EU AI Act, MISRA C, and ISO 26262 through automated evidence generation, policy-driven controls, and continuous compliance validation.
Together, these innovations represent Perforce's vision for Autonomous, Controlled Software Delivery: a future where humans define intent, AI accelerates execution, and governance, quality, security, and compliance remain continuously enforced throughout the software lifecycle.
Towards Scalable, Trusted AI
As AI adoption accelerates, enterprises need more than productivity gains. They need trust. They need accountability. They need control.
