Perforce at the Embedded World 2016 in Nuremberg, Germany
Embedded World is the leading international fair for embedded systems with 900 exhibitors and 25,000 trade visitors. The show is spread over five halls in the exhibition centre of the picturesque town of Nuremberg in Germany and lasts 3 days. Perforce has been exhibiting here since 2006, making this our 10th anniversary at Embedded World!
This year we exhibited in Hall 4 together with many other software vendors, including our partners EVOCEAN Deutschland GmbH, Emenda GmbH and POLARION Software GmbH.
We saw many of our existing customers, presented at the exhibitor forum under the title “Managing Complexity in Embedded Product Development with Perforce Helix” and had a busy time talking to interested parties and demonstrating Perforce Helix. Our Helix story certainly resonated well with many of our visitors, who are still mostly using Subversion, CVS or MKS.
There was a very strong emphasis on automotive this year, with several tuned cars filled with electronic gadgets in the exhibition hall. One even drove through the walkway past our booth on the last day (thankfully with a driver inside).
We are next off to QCon in London next week. We hope to be back for the next installment of Embedded World in 2017 from 14 – 16 March.
