For Customers with No Perpetual Licenses Under Support for Greater than 30 Days

If the customer has not renewed their perpetual software support & maintenance for all of the customer’s perpetual licenses of Perforce software, and such failure to renew the software support has exceeded thirty (30) days, the customer is no longer eligible to reinstate its software support for all of the perpetual licenses it holds.  If the customer would like to obtain software support for any of its licenses, the customer must purchase subscription licenses of the Perforce Software as the customer is no longer eligible to reinstate the software support on its perpetual licenses.

For Customers with Some Perpetual Licenses Under Support

If the customer has some of the customer’s perpetual licenses of Perforce software currently on software support, but has some dormant perpetual licenses of Perforce Software, or some perpetual licenses that the customer has failed to renew software support, and such failure to renew has exceeded thirty (30) days,  and the customer desires to activate the dormant perpetual licenses, and/or reinstate the software support on the perpetual licenses that are not currently on software support, the following will apply:

  1. Customer will pay a reinstatement fee equal to one (1) year of software support at the then current list price of software support for perpetual licenses;
  2. Customer will pay all back software support for the period which the licenses have not been supported; and
  3. Customer will pay in advance for one (1) year of software support on the reactivated dormant perpetual licenses, and/or the reinstated perpetual licenses that are not currently on software support.

NOTE:  Perforce Software does offer subscription based license models for those customers under 20 seats and for those who prefer the flexibility of buying subscription.
