Jose Rodriguez

Jose Rodriguez is a Principal Sales Engineer for Perforce Delphix. His focus is test data management: getting masked and synthetic data into non-production environments and AI and analytics pipelines quickly and securely, with no trade-offs in innovation, speed, or quality. By putting data in teams' hands earlier in the lifecycle, he helps organizations shift left, catch issues sooner, and become more agile as a business. He pairs hands-on technical depth with pre-sales, sales, and product innovation experience.

As AI adoption grows, Jose guides developers, testers, and data scientists toward realistic, compliant datasets while keeping sensitive information safe, and shows customers how the platform's AI-enabled capabilities automate delivery and protection at speed. A self-described "lazy DBA," he is passionate about documenting and automating as much as possible, and about supporting colleagues along the way. His philosophy: Good work should never have to be done twice.

With a long career as a database administrator, he has been part of dozens of projects since 2008, ranging from classic warehouse maintenance and support to migrations across technologies (both on-premises and on all three major cloud providers). Colleagues and customers around the world have relied on his expertise with Oracle, SQL Server, and Python. As an Oracle ACE, Jose is recognized for community contributions as a blogger and recurring speaker at international events.
