There are some exciting updates in the works for Perforce Static Analysis! In this customer sync, static analysis product experts will be going over the major features and improvements included in the 2026.1 release for QAC and Klocwork.
Last release, you were introduced to the new AI-assisted code remediation feature, which accelerates code reviews and provides contextual fixes for issues identified in the analysis results. The new implementation of an MCP server in 2026.1, while mainly applicable to use in VS Code with GitHub CoPilot, provides a standardized basis for future support of other AI chat tools and IDEs.
We're also pleased to announce initial analysis in QAC and Klocwork for the programming language Rust. The Rust language support in Perforce Static Analysis works with mixed-language codebases and supports CI, MCP, and IDE workflows.
