Commons 13.3 Provides Unicode Support
Perforce Commons has passed a major milestone with the 13.3 release. As part of our ongoing commitment to better support our customers and partners worldwide, our easy-to-use document collaboration tool now provides Unicode support. This significantly improves Commons functionality in non-English and multilingual deployments for thousands of Perforce customers around the globe.
The most important impact of this Commons product release is that Commons can now be deployed alongside the P4D server operating in Unicode mode. In practice, Commons also supports non-English character sets for metadata such as login information, file and folder names, comments and space names.
