Continuous Testing and Defect-Prevention Strategies

MERGE User Conference

The move to Agile and Continuous Delivery has accelerated today’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to unprecedented speeds. With increased speed, however, comes increased risks of regressions, integration errors, and other defects that lead to faulty software.

The solution rests with continuous testing, which identifies problem areas and offers a uniform measurement of risk without creating unnecessary distractions. Only with a repeatable process for continuous verification throughout the SDLC can companies execute on the promise of quality software.

At the upcoming MERGE conference, I’ll lead a session on the integration of Parasoft, Perforce Swarm and Jenkins, and explain how this combination creates the optimal SDLC for Continuous Delivery. Attendees will walk away with a firm understanding of development testing processes that reduce the risk of automating the release of software defects.

I look forward to seeing you there!

MERGE 2014, the Perforce Conference, is September 17-19 in San Francisco. Register now to hear from Parasoft and other innovators!
