Perforce Previews New Engineering Intelligence Product with Perforce P4 Signals

MINNEAPOLIS, SEPTEMBER 17, 2026 — Perforce Software, the modern DevOps Tech Stack that ensures AI governance, today announced a rollout of updates across its flagship version control platform, Perforce P4. This announcement includes a new engineering intelligence product, Perforce P4 Signals, that will be available to its product suite next year, the availability of Perforce P4 Cloud in the AWS Marketplace, and the availability of P4 through Dev Stream Labs, an emerging automated build and CI platform purpose-built for compiled software and game development. 

With P4 Signals, Perforce Enters the Engineering Intelligence Market 

P4 Signals is a native, queryable analytics layer designed to help engineering leaders who use P4 to gather the insights they need to optimize developer efficiency. Accessible through a web dashboard or protections-filtered GraphQL API, P4 Signals will deliver DORA metrics, hierarchical branch analysis, time‑to‑review, time‑to‑resolution, and project‑level comparisons—all derived from the metadata and change history stored in P4.
