You need to deliver safe products. That means you need to find and mitigate risk — before your product ships.
But managing risk is a challenge. You have to do risk analysis — such as failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), automotive safety integrity level (ASIL), and safety integrity level (SIL) — to find risk before it’s too late.
While doing risk analysis is important, it also complicates your product requirements. With FMEA, you need to prioritize risk and decide what to mitigate, eliminate, or accept. With ASIL, you need to classify risk using ISO 26262. And with SIL, you need to classify risk using IEC 61508.
Learn how to (easily) manage risk by using traceability.
You’ll learn how to:
- Manage and track requirements.
- Mitigate risk with FMEA, ASIL, and SIL analysis.
- Create a traceability matrix for compliance.
