What's So "Bling" about TestTrack 2014.1?
We'll soon be releasing TestTrack 2014.1—or as it's known internally, "the Bling Release." Why do we call it that? Because it's virtually dripping with shiny new features to help you know more and do more. The first thing you'll notice after logging into 2014 is the new Home page. The Home page lets you see everything you need to know about a project as soon as you log in—what fires need to be put out, what you need to work on next, and what everyone else on the team has been working on. Widgets at the top let you see important information at a glance, and they're fully customizable. [caption id="attachment_14403" align="aligncenter" width="293"] The new Home page. (Click to see more.)[/caption] You can also now use colors, icons, and fonts to visually indicate important information in list windows and reports. Whether it's highlighting high risk items in red or flagging accepted requirements in green, configurable field styles make it easy to scan a list window or report and quickly identify items that require attention. You can change the background and foreground colors, set the text in italics or bold face, use custom icons, and more. We've got new compliance-related reports, a better FMEA report, an improved traceability matrix, and more. We've also made it easier to create and link requirements in TestTrack 2014.1. You can now create new requirements from existing requirements with one button, making it easier to break down marketing requirements into product requirements, system specifications, and beyond. You can also use parent/child relationships for any artifact type to ensure accurate relationships and improved traceability. There's also new Git and GitHub support, new security features, and much more. See it all for yourself! Register now for the TestTrack 2014.1 What's New webinar.
