MFA, or multi-factor authentication, is the easiest and most popular way to secure enterprise users and their data. 81 percent of data breaches involve weak or stolen credentials. And MFA can prevent that.

If your organization already uses MFA with other applications, you’ll find the MFA login process for Swarm to be very similar.

Access Swarm as you normally would. And enter your username and password.

Once you’ve logged in, Swarm will bring up a new dialog box. You’ll be prompted with a list of factors defined by your administrator. When you choose a factor, it’s accompanied by a message describing what to do.

If there are multiple factors to choose from, pick the factor you wish to use, and provide the appropriate action in response.

If you fail to complete the action required, you’ll see an admin-defined message telling you so. If you succeed, you’ll see a congratulatory message, which is also defined by the administrator.

After acknowledging that message, you’ll see the Swarm interface in your browser, and you can continue work as normal.

We hope you found this video helpful, and understand the basics of logging into Swarm and authenticating with MFA.
