Perforce Recognized for Superior Innovation and Leadership

Perforce Named Finalist for Award Recognizing Minnesota’s Foremost Technology Companies

Minneapolis, Minn., Oct. 12, 2017 – Perforce Software was named a finalist in the Software Established category for the 2017 Tekne Awards, an event sponsored by the Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) and held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Wednesday, November 15. The Tekne Awards honor Minnesota companies and individuals who have shown superior technology innovation and leadership.

Perforce was selected from among Minnesota’s most innovative and diverse tech-based companies for its achievements in enhancing productivity and efficiency for large-scale technology development teams around the world.

“Perforce customers are some of the most innovative technology companies in the world. They build amazing products that people all over the world use every day,” said Janet Dryer, CEO, Perforce Software. “Our job is to help them by delivering the tools they need to build and deliver their products quickly, reliably, and competitively.”

Whether helping a major American medical device company deliver a life-changing new product to market faster, or assisting an award-winning Japanese game studio in their quest to accelerate game design and delivery, Perforce is supporting innovation.

Perforce, known for highly scalable version management, has grown and evolved significantly since being acquired by California-based Summit Partners in early 2016. In a short time, Perforce has expanded its offering across the development lifecycle — adding repository management and collaboration, enterprise Agile planning, and development lifecycle management solutions. Today, over 400,000 people use Perforce Software as an integral part of their workday.

“Each year, MHTA seeks out companies and people leading the way in innovation in Minnesota,” said Margaret Anderson Kelliher, president and CEO of MHTA. “These advancements are changing the way people all over the world live and work, and the Tekne Awards recognize those achievements.”
