Perforce Software Wins Develop Industry Excellence Award for the Second Year in a Row
Wokingham (UK), July 22, 2015 — Perforce Software today announced that it has won the annual Develop Industry Excellence Award in the Production Tools category for the second year in a row. The company received the award at a ceremony on July 15 in Brighton, United Kingdom, coinciding with the annual Develop conference and exhibition.
Develop Industry Excellence Awards recognize creativity, teamwork and innovation in the games development industry. Organized by Develop, the popular gaming industry magazine, the awards are the only peer-voted recognitions for European games developers.
“Our goal is to let game developers focus on building excellent games, free from distractions about the functionality of their collaboration tools,” said Mark Warren, product marketing director at Perforce. “This recognition from Develop means that we’re doing just that, and we really appreciate our customers’ support in helping us win this coveted award in consecutive years.”
Perforce is the source code and digital asset management solution of choice for gaming companies ranging from AAA studios to indie developers. Perforce Helix lets all the contributors to a game manage their files in a flexible, secure and highly scalable collaboration platform. It handles files of any type or size and supports globally distributed teams without impacting performance.
The Perforce 20/20 Program allows start-ups and small companies to use Perforce free of charge for up to 20 users or 20 workspaces, including access to Perforce’s award-winning technical support.
