Perforce Improves Efficiency and Collaboration in Latest Helix ALM Release

For Immediate Release

MINNEAPOLIS, April 19, 2018 — Perforce Software, a provider of solutions to enterprise teams requiring productivity, visibility, and scale along the development lifecycle, announced the release of Helix ALM 2018.1 (formerly TestTrack).

Helix ALM is an end-to-end application lifecycle management tool. Teams across industries count on Helix ALM to innovate faster and ship confidently. The latest release, Helix ALM 2018.1, makes it even easier for teams to be efficient, collaborate, and get visibility over their lifecycles.

Helix ALM 2018.1 makes it easier for users to collaborate on projects. Additional information can now be attached to emails within the Helix ALM web client.

“Adding attachments to emails in the web client is our most requested feature,” said Paula Rome, ALM Senior Product Manager. “We’re excited to deliver this release and give users the ability to collaborate effectively across the lifecycle.”

Helix ALM 2018.1 also improves visibility with the new “watch” feature. It allows users to “watch” issues, requirements, requirement documents, test cases, and test runs. If something changes, users will receive an email notifying them about the change.

This release also includes updates to the Helix ALM for Jira add-on, too. Get more details on the latest release here. To get started with Helix ALM, start a free trial.
