ALAMEDA, Calif. (September 1, 2015) – Perforce Software today announced the availability of Korean and Simplified Chinese language versions of its collaboration and code review tool, Helix Swarm. As part of the Perforce Helix source code management (SCM) and collaboration platform, the localized editions of Helix Swarm formalize content reviews and foster collaboration for Chinese and Korean users. Perforce already offers its Helix Versioning Engine and popular visual client, Helix P4V, in both languages.
Helix Swarm helps teams collaborate on all types of intellectual property by automating content and code reviews. Contributors use its intuitive productivity tools to brainstorm ideas, share files, comment, suggest tasks, vote up or down and submit final work directly within its web-based interface. With real-time notifications and immediate feedback from peers, Helix Swarm makes it easier to monitor projects and keep them moving forward efficiently.
“Some of the most influential organizations in China such as Tencent, Virtuos, Changan Automobile Co., and the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television already trust Perforce to manage their most valuable intellectual property,” said Dr. Ming He, president at Shanghai DragonSoft Digital Technology Co., Ltd. “We are excited to help these companies and others collaborate more efficiently with the newly localized products.”
“We look forward to bringing Helix Swarm to the Korean market and expanding Perforce’s presence in the region,” said Sanghoon Han, CEO and founder at MOUSoft Inc. “Samsung Electronics, NCSoft, SK Hynix and other notable Korean companies are already heavy users of Perforce so we are confident that this product will see similar success.”
“With over 100,000 users across Asia Pacific, we are committed to delivering localized products to our customers and helping them continue to innovate,” said Christopher Seiwald, founder and CEO of Perforce. “We appreciate the long-standing relationships we have with our partners SHDSD and MOUSoft, and look forward to continuing to work together to win new customers in China and Korea.”
